This Mp3 sound module version of V1.1 is updated version of V1.0 and have all of the function of V1.0.And the V1.1 has a delay by default, but if you don't need the delay, you can remove the delay in a very easy way as below : "please don't detest the signal of "busy control", then there is no any delay, it is very easy to change in the code".

Please notice that we will ship MP3 SD Card Sound Module With Two-Line Serial Control Mode.

The SD card are not include in this item list, the SD card in the picture is just to help customer to find the correct SD card for this item.

Description :
WTV020-SD module is a reusable mass storage voice module ,can plug a maximum capacity of 1GB SD card memory and can load the WAV and AD4 audio .The voice module uses WTV020SD-20S as the core chip , with MP3 control mode, one to one key control mode, power on loop control mode and the two-line serial control mode.

Product Overview :
WTV020-SD module is a voice-rewritable voice modules with maximum storage capacity up to 1GB SD card memory. It supports WAV and AD4 audio format.

WTV020-SD voice module adopts WTV020SD-20S as core procesing chip. It supports MP3 control mode, key control models (3-voice and 5-voice),pwer control mode or two-line serial control mode . Control mode is set while producing, which can not be changed through configuring.

1. MP3 control mode: play / stop, next, last, volume +, volume - and so on.
2. Key control mode (3 voice): one key to trigger a voice, can play 3 pieces of voice and adjust volume. All keys are default as no duplicate trigger for pulses.( please notice that this mode have no one in stock by now )
3. Key control mode (5 voice): Three sub-control methods, 1. Key can not be duplicate-triggered by pulse; 2. All keys are play / stop trigger (No single recycled); 3.All keys are Play/Stop (single can be recycled).
4. Loop play mode: After powered on, no need to trigger any I / O port, directly play all the voice in SD card, with functions to record playing points while power off, from which it plays while powered on again. Two sub-control modes, 1. P04 has pulse-triggered play/pause function; 2. P05 has level-triggered play/pause function.
5. Two-line serial control mode: controlled by MCU clock via CLK and DI data lines. Free to play voice at any address. In this mode, it has voice combination play function.

Audio content updates directly to SD card on the PC. The module supports FAT file system. Support AD4 of 6KHz ~ 32KHz, 36KHz sampling rate and WAV audio of 6KHz ~ 16KHz sampling rate.

How to use MP3 module with Arduino
If you want to control the mp3 player with serial port commands with arduino, first you must put the cof.mp3 file with number 1 inside the advert1 folder.

The busy pin does not tell you when the player stop, is for connecting a blinking led.

Last, if you don’t know if the module is working, look to the leds.

The module has 3 green leds：

1. Standby
2. SD Ready ->Only glows if there is a valid SD Card with the cof.mp3 file inside
3. SD Busy ->Blinks when reading from SD
